《星航者》是谭天以颜料创造的一系列虚构行星。它们拥有不同的色彩与面貌，并被赋予来自古希腊神话的名字。
宇宙似乎无穷无尽。以人的尺度来看，我们也许永远无法真正抵达它的边界。
但宇宙是否也可能是意识的一种投射？
如果现实中的宇宙需要依靠科学与技术去探索，那么在想象中，我们并不需要飞船，也不需要跨越光年。
想象中有什么，宇宙里就可以有什么。
想象能够抵达多远，我们就能够航行多远。
于是，绘画成为另一种宇宙探索。
一颗颗并不存在的行星，因为被想象、被命名、被描绘，而获得了属于自己的世界。这个宇宙没有确定的疆界，它可以随着想象继续生长。
科学不断拓展人类能够抵达的边界。
但科学的速度，永远赶不上想象的速度。

PLANETSAILOR is an ongoing series of imaginary planets created by Tan Tian through painting. Each has its own colors and appearance, and is given a name drawn from ancient Greek mythology.
The universe seems infinite. On a human scale, we may never truly reach its boundaries.
But could the universe also be a projection of consciousness?
If exploring the physical universe depends on science and technology, imagination needs neither spacecraft nor light-years.
Whatever we can imagine can exist in the universe.
As far as imagination can reach, we can travel.
Painting therefore becomes another way of exploring the cosmos.
Planets that do not exist become worlds of their own simply by being imagined, named and painted. This universe has no fixed boundaries — it can continue to expand as far as imagination allows.
Science continues to push the boundaries of how far humanity can reach.
But science can never travel as fast as imagination.
